The Richmond Ballet presents “Giselle” for the Valentine’s Day weekend in the Carpenter Theatre. The last time the company performed this ballet was 15 years ago. “Discover the hauntingly beautiful story that tests the bounds of true love…even in the afterworld. With iconic choreography that transcends time, now enriched with new touches by Artistic Director Ma Cong, this ethereal ballet will sweep audiences away to a realm where love, vengeance, and redemption intertwine.”

Principal Conductor Erin Freeman joined me during “Afternoon Classical” to preview the production. Performances are Friday evening (2/13) at 7pm, Saturday afternoon (2/14) at 2pm and evening at 7pm, and Sunday afternoon (2/15) at 2pm.

Yours in good music,
Mike Goldberg
