Radio PresenceErin has appeared on Richmond’s NPR station as occasional co-host of Classical Music, and her performances with the Richmond Symphony and Richmond Symphony Chorus are regularly broadcast on WCVE – Richmond’s local NPR station.

Lectures and PresentationsFreeman has presented pre-concert and special occasion lectures for organizations from the Baltimore Symphony to the National Philharmonic.

Interactive Leadership Training Freeman designed and implemented a leadership clinic for the Federal Reserve in Richmond. Involving the Richmond Symphony Chorus, this clinic invited leadership students to experience the concept of “Leading without Words.”

Community SingsFrom Richmond to Buffalo, from Savannah to Williamsburg, Erin has conducted several community sings of major works. She leads attendees musically and historically through works such as Handel’s Messiah, Orff’s Carmina Burana, and Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis.

Pre-concert patron preparationPassionate about creating entry points into orchestral and choral music, Erin has created videos and other materials for patrons to experience before performances. This video, for example, takes viewers behind the scenes of a rehearsal of Mozart's Requiem.

Wintergreen Summer Music Festival's Interactive OfferingsAs Artistic Director of Wintergreen Performing Arts, Erin instituted a successful "_______ with us" interactive series. Patrons are invited to Sing with Us, Play with Us, Dance with Us, and/or Write (music) with Us

Legislative PresenceFor several years running, Erin and the Richmond Symphony Chorus have developed a musical relationship with the State Legislature of Virginia, performing the National Anthem at the opening session and serving as special performers for national events such as the Speakers conference.
