Now in her third year as Associate Conductor of the Richmond Symphony, Erin has performed repertoire from Rachmaninoff Symphonic Dances to Beethoven Symphony No. 8, from The Masque of Red Death by David Baker to Bright Sheng's Postcards. Last season, her 30+ conducting engagements this year ran the gamut from Richmond Symphony subscription concerts to the Virginia All-State Orchestra to the RSO's annual "Come and Play" event with an orchestra of over 450.
This year, in addition to adding Interim Artistic Advisor to her positions, Erin will conduct repertoire from Bizet First Symphony to Beethoven Second Symphony, from Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto to Higdon Concerto for Orchestra. She is collaborating with Elena Urioste, Arturo Sandoval, Jennifer Higdon, and Victor Yampolsky.
